Inspired Blueprints - Sketch #89

Happy Saturday!!!

I just wanted to share the new sketch and layout for this week from Inspired Blueprints!  I was so excited when I saw this sketch Lisa has created for IB.  I loved it from the get-go!  Here a look at both . . .

Firstly my take on sketch #89 . . .

Products:  Bo Bunny, Prima, Kaisercraft
And the sketch  . . .

Do you agree that this is one FAB sketch??  I rotated the sketch to work with the orientation  of my photo and used Bo Bunny's beautiful Mama Razzi 2 collection of papers . . . I love the colors of these papers . . . they are FUN!!  Here are a few close-up's . . .

Check out the IB blog for more beautiful layouts based off this sketch!!

Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed weekend!!

Well Hello!!

Yes, it really is me, I am still here and still kickin' . . . just not scrapping all that much lately!!  Why, you ask??  Because real life is kickin' my butt, that's why!!  It seems like 2 minutes after I got out of bed in the mornings, the sun is already setting again!!  Just when I think

"Tomorrow will be a quite day, I'll get some scrappy time"

life throws me a curve ball and the extra time I thought I had is no more!!  And I have to admit that it seems when I am rushed, or have to squeeze some scrapping time from my day, that every creative thought I ever had just vanished into thin air.  And it leaves me frustrated and depressed!!

But I am blessed and happy . . . blessed because so many things, GOOD things are happening in my life!!  Happy . . . because I get to see and play and cuddle and love these two every day . . .

But while I'm here let me share the few projects I made since my last post with  you all!

First up are 3 layouts I created for challenges at Colorful Creations . . .

Beautiful Dreamer - Created for the March Favourite Things challenge

Finally Home - Created for Creative Monthly Challenge

This Moment . . . Together - Created for February Favourite Things Challenge

And this one was created for the cardstock challenge at Scrap Africa . . . You still have until March 31st to submit your detail for this challenge!

Cardstock Challenge . . . Use at least 3 or more colors on your project!

I also created 2 more layout that I can't just yet share!  That makes my total for March a pitiful 5 single layout . . . and the sad thing is, I do not believe April will be any better!!  Next week our family will be camping and on the 23th I'll be leaving for a 15 day tour of Europe!  I'm so excited about that one and still want to create a travel journal!

And that concludes my ramblings for today . . lol!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I would love I you would say HI!!!

Inspired Blueprints - Sketch #85

This weekend so far has been just a little bit crazy but I want to quickly share with you this weeks Inspired Blueprints sketch!  The sketch this week has a banner and two 4" x 6" photos and layers . . . Here's a look . . .

Inspired Blueprints - Sketch #85
I have to say that this sketch was so easy to work with ... my layout came together very quickly and I am loving the end result!  Here's a look at my layout . . .

Products:  FabScraps, Kaisercraft
How amazing is these FabScraps paper??  I love the adorable images and the vibrant blue and red with it! One of my favorite collections of paper!!  I swapped the two photos and replaced it with one 5" x 7" portrait photo . . . other than that I stuck pretty close to Lisa's sketch!

Come play with us at Inspired Blueprints . . . We would love to see your take on this sketch!!

Have a fab Sunday!!

Scrap Africa - Sketch Challenge #15

Happy Friday!!  The new sketch challenge went live today on Scrap Africa, and it's a GREAT one!!  Here's a look at the sketch and my layout for this challenge . . .

Sketch Challenge #15
And my layout . . .

Products:  FabScrapb, MME, Bu Bunny, Prima, Heidi Swapp
I flipped the sketch and instead of a circle photo I used a 5" x 7" landscape photo and incorporated the circle element with chipboard and the doilie.  I first painted the chipboard and then I used Rangers' Crackle Paint to give it a more distressed look . . . Love how it turned out!!

Head on over to the Scrap Africa blog to see all the wonderful creations from the amazing DT!  The talent of these woman always amazes me!!  You have until March 14 to upload your take on the sketch to win a fabulous prize!!

Have fun creating!!
