A few more Let's Scrap Layouts!

I quickly wanted to share 2 more layouts I created for sketches over at Let's Scrap!  I need to learn to blog about these layouts as I upload them on the Let's Scrap sketch, but time is not my friend!!  Something to put on my "to-do" list!

The first sketch and layout I want to share is 6-13-12.  This is one of Cheri's famous flip out page sketches . . . And I love doing them, because you can add so much photos to your layout!!  On this layout I was able to add 14 photos . . .yes, 14!!!  Pretty amazing!

Here is the sketch and my layout . . .

Sketch 6-13-12
Since this was the week that we celebrated Father's Day, I wanted to create something to honor my husband and the special bond he has with our children.  They sure are blessed to have such a wonderful, loving and caring daddy!

The next sketch I want to share is a card sketch, but once again I used it to create a single page layout!  From the moment I saw the sketch I knew what I wanted to do with it, and it's simply perfect for a layout!  Here is Debby's sketch . . .

And my layout . . .

I used the French Kiss collection from Glitz Designs for this layout.  During INSM at Let's Scrap Michelle van Wyk shared a link for this very cute butterfly tutorial with us, and you can find it HERE!  Please leave Shirl some love for sharing this amazing tutorial with us!

Be sure to check the Let's Scrap site every Wednesday for new sketches, and do not miss all the wonderful DT challenges every Friday!  Happy scrapping!

Let's Scrap Layouts!!

Happy Monday!!

I have a few Let's Scrap layouts that I quickly want to share with ya' all!!  I'm a little behind in showing Cheri's gorgeous sketches and what I created with them!

First we have the sketch from a few weeks ago . . . Sketch 6-6-12.  At first look, I wasn't sure that I wanted to use this sketch . . . It just wasn't my style!!  But after seeing what an amazing job the DT did with this sketch, I just had to give it a go!!

Here is sketch 6-6-12 and my layout . . .

I used the Fabulous collection papers from Simple Stories!  I wanted the layout to be girly and fun, and these papers allow me to do just that!  Title and quote was cut using my Silhouette.  In the end I really enjoyed creating with this sketch!!

Next we have this weeks sketch, and since yesterday was Fathers Day, I wanted to create a layout honoring my husband and his Daddy-role in our children's lives.  My inspiration for this layout came from a quote my sister shared with me.

Here is sketch 6-13-12 . . .

And my layout . . .

I just love to incorporate flaps into my layout to include more photos!!  I used Basic Grey's Marjolein paper for this one because I just LOVE the colors and patterns on them!!

And for the last layout I wanted to share, I used an older Let's Scrap sketch . . . this one is from 11-30-11!

And my layout . . .

This is the 2nd layout I created using Bo Bunny's Little Miss collection, and I have to say I really am in love with these papers.  When Bo Bunny first released it, I did not like them.  I thought they were too girly for me, boy was I wrong!!  I also used some Kaisercraft flourishes and pearls, crackle accent and ribbon from my stash.

This Wednesday Let's Scrap will have a new card sketch for this week . . . Hope to see you play along!  Have a fabulous week!!

Do you have loads of buttons and brads??

Then I have the perfect project for you!!  But you'll need lots of time and patients for this one as well!!!  I found this wonderful tutorial over at the American Crafts blog on how to make a monogram letter with buttons and brads!  I love monograms and always look for them for our family, and this one was perfect for me to try.

Here is the one I made today . . .

I used A LOT of my button and brad stash on this project, but I really love the end result!!  I used liquid glue from the start, and then just added the brads and jewels to add dimension to it!  All those Bo Bunny brads from previous collection really came in handy here!!

Be sure to check out the tutorial on the American Craft blog, and leave them some love!!

Happy crafting!!
