Quickly wants to share this one!

In between sight-seeing, and visiting with my sisters, I had the chance to create this layout for Sketchy Thursday.

It was such a fun sketch to use and the pictures of my sisters and me was perfect for this sketch. I used some of the papers from the "Roadshow" paper pack and Zva bling. I used my sewing machine and stiched a yellow and pink border, and 2 of the flower layers is cut by hand and distressed. I love this fun pictures of the 3 of us.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!! :)

Just 2 more days!!

Oh, I'm so excited!! In just 2 days my guests are arriving from South Africa!! Two of my sisters are coming to visit us for 3 weeks in Seoul. It will be their first time flying and first visit abroad. I'm not sure who's more excited . . . them or me!! There will be many scrapbooking layouts made from this visit!!

A few days ago my order from ACOT arrived safely here. I love it when my orders arrive . . . I drool over every paper and embellishment I take out of the box!! With this order I totally fell in love with the Mama Razzi papers from Bo Bunny. When I ordered them I wasn't sure how I will be using them, but when I held them in my hands all this possibilities popped up into my head. Today I had a change to use them for a layout of Monique!! I did quite a bit of layering and distressing! Here is the layout:

I'll chat to you soon. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

My first layout for a"Sketchy Thursdays" challenge!

I love double page layouts! I don't really know why, but for me, it just works!! This week Sketchy Thursdays has a great double pager which I wanted to do! Here is the sketch and my layout:

On my layout I used the "Rough and tough" papers by Fancy Pants, a Jenny Bowlin bingo card and quiet a lot Kaiser rub-ons. I used metallic chalk on the Bassil chipboard arrows and then cover it with Ranger's Glossy accents. I really like the effect of the glossy accents on the chipboard.

I still want to do a few more layouts this week before my sisters arrive for a 3 week visit from South Africa! I'm soooo excited about the visit, but I also realise that I will not have time to scrap.

I'm planning on scrapping in the evenings, but that will mostly be layouts of the visit and I'm planning on giving them each a complete album of their visit here in Korea! That's what I plan, I'm not sure I will be able to scrap 2 complete albums in 3 weeks while doing a lot of sight-seeing and visiting! But I'm going to try very hard to get it done! I'll be back later in the week with some more scrapping!

May you all have a blessed and wonderful week ahead of you!

A little bit of scrapbooking!

Hi everyone . . . finally I was able to squeeze in some time to scrap. We were still really busy after moving to the new apartment. I'm not complaining, really, it is so nice to have the extra space!! I will post some pictures in the week for you all to see our new space!
Finally I managed to do some scrapping. Nothing major yet, but I have something planned!! I did a layout for the newest "Lets Scrap" sketch. Here is my layout:

I really enjoyed doing this layout!! It just all come together. With Cherri's awesome sketch it was fast, fun and easy. I used some Pebbles Inc. papers, some American craft thickers and the chipboard stars are from Me & my big ideas! I love using bright, happy colours!!
I also did a layout for challenge #56, also at "Let's Scrap". Sally wanted us to celebrate summer. The challenge was to use 1 pinwheel, 2 circles and 3 different pattern papers, and a "Let's Scrap" sketch!! Here is my attempt:

Since it is raining here in Seoul, I think I'll have some scrapping time this weekend!

Hope you all have a wonderful & happy weekend.
