You make my heart smile - Layout share

Well helloooo ... 2 day's in a row ... Go me!!!  Over the weekend I had a peak at the mid-month sketch from Stuck?! sketches and new I wanted to play along with this one.

Let's take a quick look at my layout and the sketch ...

Let's take a closer look at some of the details.  Paper and embellishments are from Bo Bunny's Petal Lane collection ... I love the colors on this one!

I found some cute kraft and chalkboard tags at a local bookstore, and they came in handy
for this layout.

I hope to share the mini album I have been working on with you tomorrow ... be sure to check back in.  I promise it's a goody!

Happy Tuesday!!

Simply Adorable - Layout share

Happy Monday!!  I hope that where ever you are,  that you had a fabulous Monday with no shade of blue insight.  I had some creative time over the weekend and loved the new Kraft+ challenge and wanted to play along.  Here is a look at the mood board ...

Here is my take on the Roses 3 ways challenge ...

Here is how I used rose in FIVE ways ... There are roses embossed on the doilies, a flair with roses on,  roses on the patterned paper, as well as fuzzy cut rose and lastly, I have added some roses to the layout as well.  Let's take a closer look!

Paper for this project is from Julia Nutting's French Flea Market collection ... and it is gorgeous!  I added some Prima and Petaloo flowers and flairs that I've pick-up from a local craft store.

This cute title are from ScrapFX and I simply painted it white and pink.

I will be back tomorrow to share another layout with you.  I am also currently working on a mini album ... I hope to share it with you on Wednesday!

Wishing you all a crafty week ahead!

{Perfection} ... Layout share

Happy Sunday!!  It's a very lazy Sunday afternoon here in my corner of the world and I quickly wanted to share my entry for the White ... with 1 challenge blog.  Here is a look at the mood board and sketch.  You do not have to use the sketch, but I did, I just changed the rotation ...

And my take on the challenge ...

Okay, if I am being honest here I have to confess that I really struggled with this challenge.  Why?  I have no idea ... I love blue, but for me this one was hard!  I used a mix of Kaisercraft and Maja Design papers, some circle dies, ScrapFX title and Kaisercraft embellishments.

How adorable is that little face!  She is now 2 years and 8 months old ... and has all the tricks of the terrible two stage ... :-) ... But this title was perfect for this photo!  Looking into her eyes I am reminded that she is perfection!

Wishing you a happy, fun Sunday!

Happiness is being a Noenie - Layout share

I quickly wanted to share a layout.  This one is all about our grand-babies!  If you've seeing my work, you will know that they are most often the subject of my layouts and projects.  And why not ... they are just SO ADORABLE ... and they truly have my heart!  My DH recently bought me a selfie stick ... these photos is the result of me and the grandies trying out the selfie stick ... too funny I tell you!!

Products:  Simple Stories We Are Family kit, Silhouette, border punches, WRMK tab punch board
I used a Silhouette cutting file but changed it up a bit.  The original says "Happiness is being a Grandma", but our babies calls me Noenie, so I changed it to stay true to who we are.  I love that it give it same originality.  I used a Pagemaps sketch an stuck pretty closely to it.  Here's a look at the sketch ...

And a closer look at some of the details ...

These cute little Polaroid frames was cut with my Silhouette ... I simply adore them!

I created a flap under the main photo to add some more of these cute photos.

Hope you all are having a fab week!

Sweet memories with you!

UPDATED

Today I scrapped because I was feeling blue!  My niece, Celeste, is getting married in one weeks time and unfortunately I can't attend her wedding.  Today is also her kitchen tea party ... which I can also not attend :-( ... therefor I scrapped!  Good therapy.

I was lucky enough to go along with her and my oldest sister, Lynette, when they purchased the material for her wedding dress.  My very talented sister has made the dress and shared with me a photo from the final fitting which took place on Thursday ... I feel so honored that they shared this special moment with me.  And that is what I scrapped today ... In some way it made me feel part of the event ... without being there.  I am sharing photos here with Celeste's permission, but I am not showing the dress ... I will update the post after February 18th ... :-)

Here is what I created ...

Products:  Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses collection, oval die and Botanical roses die, lace, doilie, Prima and Petaloo flowers, Prima pearls
And the full version of this layout ...

And here are some photos of the wedding ...

Here is a closer look at some of the details ...

How cute is this doily dress??  I found a quick tutorial on Gabrielle Pollacco's blog and knew this would be perfect on this layout ... so, so cute!!  The oval at the back of the dress form is from Heartfelt Creations ... it is BEAUTIFUL!!

I will update this post next week after the couple said there "I do's" ... Have a great weekend!!
